Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, was born in Mexico. She is American and has Mexican-American heritage. From the time she was a kid, she's always had a strong interest in playing athletics. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she turned 15 years old. Gerina graduated from high school in Goddard High School. In high school she won the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico.
