Katherine Heigl shares the ways that growing up living in a white bubble has impacted the way that she raised her adoptive multiracial family. In an interview, actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her body didn't matter to her. However, when speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became aware of how much different their lives were. I asked Meg if when she was going out with her parents she was treated with a specific manner and when out alone, she was treated with a totally different one. She replied: 'Oh yes, every all the time! Heigl admitted to her parents that it made her realize just how foolish she was. She admitted that she was frustrated however she was also aware of the need to use this anger to assist her daughters. Heigl is with Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in 2012.
