April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. in seventh grade. She began playing the guitar as well as taking piano classes which sparked her enthusiasm for the art of songwriting. At the age of 12 April wrote her first song Different. The singer spent much of her time when she was 14 writing songs, and practicing her music. Over the next few months, she started taking writing excursions along with her father in LA in addition to NY. April was able to add additional relevant subjects into the song, such as the Take my Hand song for some of her friends, like peer-pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry who is gaining a loyal following. She collaborates with famous brand Ilia in partnership, along with being a life expert. Lockhart was born without a hand on her left side and it's part of who she's become, but it's hardly her whole story. So, Lockhart's Instagram profile does not shy away from her disability, but it's not focused on her disability either. The main message? that we are all a part of a multitude and that we are all unique and that we're far more than our physical selves. I don't want that to make me feel like I'm to become a person who is a disability-related influencer in the sense that I only talk about because there are so numerous other aspects of me Lockhart says via video from her home in Nashville. My daily routine isn't impaired by the disability. I just live my normal day-to-day life and discover myself solutions for problems. It's also part of me, so I believe it's important that we talk about. Lockhart who is an inspiration for self-acceptance generally has been on a long path to reach this. But she has admitted to going through phases with her body, at times having a feeling of insecurity when wearing certain kinds of clothing that showed off her arms. Today, she wears whatever she wants and posts photos in those outfits to social media, she is proud of herself. It's all a process is the most important thing that I'm not sure when you will arrive, her self-love statement. This is a process, and I'm sure that you never reach your destination. It's crucial to have people in your life who know and can relate to you. They'll help you remind yourself about the issues you're concerned about.
